Online arbitrage on Amazon is one of the best businesses for anyone to start, especially beginners, because it has consistently proven to work for over a decade. The concept is simple: price differences will always exist between various websites, allowing you to buy products cheaply and resell them on Amazon for a profit.



It’s a flexible business model that doesn’t require a large initial investment of money or time. You can start with as little as $50 or scale up with multiple thousands. The second tool you’ll need is Seller Sprite, an invaluable resource for making data-driven decisions. When you’re on an Amazon listing, Seller Sprite provides all the relevant data about the product, such as:

  • Monthly sales trends

  • Daily sales data

  • Price fluctuations over time

  • Comprehensive listing analytics

While it doesn’t have all the advanced features of premium repricers, it’s effective enough to get you started. You can always upgrade to a paid repricer later as your business scales, but in the beginning, it’s smarter to reinvest your profits into more inventory rather than unnecessary software.


4. Online Seller Add-On

This free Chrome extension is a game-changer for online arbitrage. It shows:

  • The number of sellers on a listing

  • How much inventory each seller has


This information is crucial when competing for the Buy Box. By knowing how much stock other sellers have, you can make more informed decisions about how many units to source. You can download it for free in the google chrome store. You can also see it in action in that previous tutorial.


5. Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)

While not required, I highly recommend shipping your products to Amazon FBA. Doing so gives you a better chance of winning the Buy Box, as Amazon prioritizes FBA sellers. Plus, Amazon handles all shipping and logistics, making it easier for you to focus on sourcing and scaling.


6. Rakuten for Cashback

For extra savings, I recommend using Rakuten, my favorite cashback portal. Rakuten works with many online arbitrage websites, offering cashback rates of 1% to 16%. Over time, this can add up significantly.
