This might just be the most valuable article I release this year—and probably next year as well. I don’t say that lightly. By the end of it, I promise you’ll agree that what I’m sharing is a massive opportunity. It gives you a significant advantage over everyone else, and you’ll likely want to try it yourself.
In this, I’ll break down my entire workflow, thought process, and how I’m making a substantial income from home using a simple two-step process that anyone can replicate.
Step 1: Retail Dropshipping with Amazon as a Supplier
The first step involves retail dropshipping products using Amazon as the supplier. While this works for platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, and OfferUp, I’ve been focusing heavily on Poshmark lately because sales there have been skyrocketing.
If you’re new to dropshipping on Poshmark, I have plenty of other articles and videos explaining the strategy in-depth, including how to use software to simplify the process. I’ll briefly cover the concept here so you can understand how it works in combination with step two.
Since Poshmark requires you to use their shipping label, you can’t ship directly to customers. Instead, you order the products from Amazon Prime to your home first. The fast shipping from Amazon allows you to quickly receive the products, package them, and ship them out using the Poshmark label.
This strategy has all the benefits of dropshipping—no upfront inventory costs and no risk of unsold stock. You can list products first and only order them after making a sale, guaranteeing profit. It’s a significant advantage over most Poshmark sellers who invest in inventory without guaranteed sales.
I also use this approach on other platforms, but Poshmark has been the standout performer lately. On top of that, this method provides free access to a ton of products, which ties directly into step two.
Step 2: Leveraging the Amazon Influencer Program
If you’re unfamiliar with the Amazon Influencer Program, this video will get you up to speed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uzt4O0RnYio&t=0s
It’s one of the best opportunities in eCommerce and content creation right now. Combining it with step one gives you an incredible advantage.
By dropshipping products, you gain access to dozens—sometimes hundreds—of items daily. These products can then be reviewed for the Amazon Influencer Program. Not only do you make money from your dropshipping profits, but you also create future passive income by earning commissions from your product reviews.
This workflow is a game-changer because most Amazon influencers either purchase products themselves or rely on brands to send samples for review. With this approach, you bypass those hurdles entirely. You’re reviewing products you already have access to for free—and you’ve already made money from them.
The Workflow in Detail
Here’s the step-by-step workflow I follow every day:
List Items for Dropshipping: Use Amazon Prime as your supplier and list products on platforms like Poshmark, Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, and OfferUp. I recommend using tools like Zeedrop to streamline this process. For Poshmark specifically, using auto-sharing software like Posh Sidekick can significantly boost your sales. Check for Review Opportunities: Once you get an order, check if the product is reviewable on Amazon by looking at the existing review videos on its listing.
Script Creation: If the product is reviewable, have a script written for the review. I use ChatGPT and information from the product listing for this.
Record the Voiceover: Record a short 1–2 minute voiceover for the script. This step is quick and easy. I’ve experimented with AI voiceovers, but for now, I recommend sticking with your own voice.
Capture Product Footage: When the product arrives, record a simple 1–2 minute video showcasing it. Focus on its appearance, how it functions, and key features. This footage doesn’t need to be complicated—just decent-quality B-roll (so you can then overlay the voiceover on top of that to make the finished video). Pair the product with its shipping label and send it out to the customer.
Edit and Upload: Edit the voiceover and product footage together, then upload it to the Amazon Influencer Program. For additional income, upload the video to YouTube with affiliate links.
This workflow is low-risk and incredibly efficient. You gain free access to thousands of products through retail dropshipping, review them, and generate additional income. It’s the perfect pairing of two profitable businesses.
